Hello. My name’s Larry McHugh. I live out in the country with my wife and two children. We don’t have city water where we live, so we have a well. I enjoy well water. It is fresh and clean. At least it was enjoyable until a few months ago. It’s not uncommon for us to get some sediment in the water after a storm. However, this last storm churned up more than sediment. Our water smelled like rotten eggs. We had had that smell before, but it never lasted more than a few days. After a month of this horrible odor, I called the local well service. They recommended that the county test the water, which they did and luckily didn’t find anything serious. My next call was to a plumber. I’m going to share what happened next with and hope that my story helps your situation.
